What are the requirements for enrolling in the private pilot course?

To start your journey toward becoming a Private Pilot, you’ll need:

  1. Age – You can begin at any age but must be at least 16 years old to solo an aircraft and 17 years old to earn your license.

  2. Language – Be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.

  3. Medical Certificate – Obtain at least a Third-Class FAA Medical Certificate from an Aviation Medical Examiner.

How long does it take to earn a private pilot's license?

The time it takes to earn a private pilot license can vary depending on individual progress, commitment,weather and airplane availability. On average, students complete the training in about 3-6 months. With our accelarated program, we can help you earn your private pilot license in 1-2 months.

How many hours are required for the PPL?

The FAA minimum is 40 hours of flight time, but most students average 55–70 hours before they’re fully ready for the checkride.

Do I need any flying experience before starting training?

No prior experience is required! We’ll start from the very basics and build your skills step by step.
